Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, begin your drive to Bhalukpong, a tranquil town nestled on the Assam–Arunachal border, known for its natural beauty and river landscapes.

Day 2 Bhalukpong to Itanagar
Post breakfast, head to Itanagar, the capital of Arunachal Pradesh, a city that blends tribal traditions with modern culture.

Day 3 Sightseeing in Itanagar | Drive to Ziro (Distance: 130 km)
Begin your day with visits to Ganga Lake, a serene forest-surrounded lake, and the Jawaharlal Nehru State Museum, showcasing tribal heritage and artifacts.
Later, drive to Ziro, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its scenic valley views and home to the Apatani tribe, known for their sustainable farming practices and unique facial tattoos.

Day 4 Exploring Ziro – Apatani Cultural Tour
Start your day with an early village walk and tea at a local stall. Visit the paddy fields to witness pisci-culture, a rare practice of farming fish and rice together.
Explore Hapoli township, the commercial center of Ziro; Tarin Fish Farm, a high-altitude fish breeding center; and the local Tribal Museum.
Later, visit Hong village, Asia’s largest tribal village, and experience the rich traditions of the Apatani people.

Day 5 Ziro to Tezpur (Distance: 160 km)

Visit Mahabhairav Temple, believed to be built by King Bana; Cole Park, a green heritage park; and Agnigarh, a legendary fortress linked to Hindu mythology.
