Srinagar APT TO HOUSE BOAT
On arrival at Srinagar International Airport at an altitude of 1730 Mts. Meet our assistance at the airport & transfer by car to the Srinagar city (“Sri” means Lakshmi or Wealth & “Nagar” means a city). Check in at Houseboat. In evening visit to floating gardens in famous Dal Lake by Shikara Meals & Overnight at Houseboat.
Srinagar - Pahalgam( 96kms 3 ½ )
After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam, also known as “Land Of Shepherds”. The distance of 96 kms will be covered in about 3 hrs. The mountain town is located at the convergence of the Lidder river and the Sheshnag Lake, at a height of 2,130 m, Enroute visit Saffaron fields and AwantipuraTemple ruins (1100 yrs old temple of Lord Vishnu built by King Avantivarman). Pahalgam hill station is a spectacular sight. At one time, the hill station used to serve as the village of shepherds. Even today, this village with splendid views stands untouched by the ravages of progress. On reaching early you can visit to Baisaran(Mini Switzerland) on ponies (on extra cost) the huge meadows surrounded by thickly wooden forests of pine present a beautiful spectacle. Pahalgam
After breakfast, visit to Aru by local car (of your own) a village 11 km from Pahlgam. From here a famous trek leads to Kolohoi glaciers 3400 Mtrs. above sea level. Here you can have a glimpse of Kolohoi Peak 5370 Mtrs. And after lunch, visit to Chandanwari. 16 km from Pahalgam, serves as the starting point of the Amarnathyatra. (Of your own). Meals & Overnight at Hotel.
Pahalgam – Gulmarg (54 km / 2.5 hrs)
Early breakfast, drive to Gulmarg (altitude 2900 m).
Explore Meadow of Flowers (Gaurimarg) and Asia’s highest 18-hole golf course.
Optional cable car ride to Kongdori (3045 m) or Affarwat (4060 m) – enjoy snow-capped mountain views.
Optional skiing, snowboarding, sledging on slopes (seasonal).
Return to Srinagar.
Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Gulmarg – Srinagar (56 Kms – 2 ½ hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Sgr to visit to Mughal Gardens (Nishat, Shalimar, and Cheshmashahi&Parimahal).Enroute to Hazratbal Shrine&Nigeen Club located on the bank of Famous Nigeen Lake. Meals & Overnight at the hotel.
Srinagar – Sonamarg – Srinagar (86 Kms – 3 hrs)
After early breakfast, leave for full day trip to Sonmarg (also known as the "Golden Meadow", situated at a height of 2740 m. The drive to this beautiful meadow is also as spectacular like the place itself. Driving through the Sindhu valley, you get to see another aspect of Kashmir. Encircled by snow-covered mountains, Sonamarg is a place of enchanting beauty, surrounded by dense forests, full of sycamore and alpine flowers, silver birch, fir and pine, the meadow presents a captivating sight.., Ponies can be hired for the trip up to Thajiwas glacier a major attraction during summer months. Return back to Srinagar in evening. Meals and overnight at HOTEL.
