Day 1

Cochin Arrival

Start your journey in Kerala by arriving in Cochin at the airport, the bustling city of Kerala. Our representative welcomes you at Cochin and Check in to the hotel. Fort Kochi, Thrikkakara Temple, Marine Drive, Chinese Fishing Nets, Princess Street, St. Francis CSI Church, Paradesi Synagogue, Bolgatty Palace, Greenix Museum. Overnight stay in Cochin.

Day 2

Cochin – Munnar (approx. 126km, 4hr journey)

Start your journey in Kerala by arriving in Cochin at a cruise port, the bustling city of Kerala. Our representative welcomes you at Cochin and we drive to Munnar. The never-ending vast expanse of tea plantations and around the year moderate climate make it a little haven for visitors. On the way visit the very famous Cheeyappara and Valara waterfalls. Check in to the hotel at Munnar and relax. Overnight stay at Munnar.

Day 3

Munnar Sightseeing

After breakfast to Echo Point and Mattupetty Dam. Speed boating facilities are available here. The dam is flanked by forests and a vast expanse of grassland on one side and the Kundala tea plantation on the other. Afternoon visits Rajamala- house of the highly endangered mountain goats - the Nilgiri Thars (Rajamala is closed from Feb 1st to Mar 31st, 2021). Overnight stay at Munnar.

Day 4

Munnar – Thekkady (approx. 92km, 3hr journey)

After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Thekkady. After arriving in Thekkady, check in to the hotel and relax for some time. Later in the afternoon proceed to visit the famous Periyar Lake around which the sanctuary is built, for boating (cost extra). This is the only sanctuary in India where you can have the unique experience of viewing the wildlife at close quarters from the safety of a boat. You can also enjoy a plantation tour covering tea, coffee, cardamom, pepper, cinnamon etc. Overnight stay at Thekkady.

Day 5

Thekkady - Alleppey (approx. 138 km, 4 hr. Journey) After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Alleppey. After arriving in Alleppey check in to the hotel and relax for some time. Later in the afternoon proceed to do a couple of hours motor boat cruise (optional- cost not included) through the legendary backwaters of Kerala. On the way, you will witness a full range of life and activities and some mind-boggling sceneries. The evening is free for leisure.

Description: Houseboats are huge, slow-moving exotic boats used for leisure trips. They are the remodeled version of kettuvallams of olden times which were used to carry tons of rice and spices. The present-day house boat is a private boat with fully furnished spacious bath attached bedrooms, a hygiene kitchen, a dining area, and a private front deck The houseboat check-in time is 12 noon and the cruise and stay will be till the next day 9 am. During the cruise, you will witness a full range of lives and activities and some mind-boggling sceneries. The menu in the houseboat is fixed with different fixed menu options for Vegetarians and Non-Vegetarians. Overnight stay at Alleppey.
