Day wise Planning

Day 1

Jaipur - Bikaner
Arrive at Jaipur Airport. Report to vehicle and proceed to Bikaner. The Marwad portion of Rajasthan lies partly in Thar Desert. In Sanskrit the word 'maru' means desert and 'wad' refers to region, so the word 'Marwad' literally means 'The region of Desert'. With a long, rich history and heritage and sand dunes just close by, it's not surprising that Bikaner is also called “Camel Country”

Day 2

Bikaner
Enjoy city tour of Bikaner which includes visit to Deshnok Rat temple – A unique Temple dedicated to Karni Mata of Deshnok, Junagarh Fort - one of the most decorated forts in India and houses opulent palaces that give you a peek into the lives and times of the maharajas of Bikaner. Here we also see AnupMahal, GajMandir, Sheesh Mahal, Prachina Museum, Sadul Museum. Visit Asia's biggest Camel Research Farm - where you get a chance to encounter different camel breeds. Later we view the magnificent Lalgarh Palace. Later enjoy the puppet show - An ancient art form of Rajasthan.

Day 3

Bikaner – Jaisalmer
Proceed to Jaisalmer – nicknamed as the Golden city because the yellow sandstone used throughout the architecture of both the fort and the town. On arrival visit Jaisalmer War museum and enjoy Sound & Light show at Jaisalmer War Museum (Subject to operation).

Day 4

Jaisalmer – Desert Camp

Morning city tour: Jaisalmer Fort (Golden Fort, UNESCO site), Jain Mandir, Patwon Ki Haveli & Museum, Nathmal Ki Haveli

Boating at Gadisar Lake

Evening: Camel ride, folk dance, sunset at Sam Sand Dunes, dinner

Overnight at desert camp

Day 5

Desert camp Jaisalmer – Jodhpur
Morning proceed to Jodhpur – Positioned in the Thar Desert's stark landscape, Jodhpur is also know as the ‘Blue city’ of Rajasthan. On arrival at Jodhpur enjoy free time for shopping

Day 6

Jodhpur – City Tour

Visit Umaid Bhavan Palace Museum

Explore Mehrangarh Fort – Moti Mahal, Phool Mahal, Sheesh Mahal, Silah Khana, Daulat Khana & Rang Mahal

Visit Jaswant Thada (cenotaph of Maharaja Jaswant Singh)

Evening: Get-together with travel companions

Departure from Jodhpur
Board the flight for your hometown.
