Day 1
DEHRADUN AIRPORT TO RISHIKESH (20KMS - 1 HRS)

Welcome to your Winter Himalaya Darshan Tour, upon arriving at Dehradun Airport transfer to Rishikesh hotel at your own cost, have lunch and first day free for leisure. Overnight stay at Rishikesh.



Day 2
RISHIKESH SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast, we leave for river rafting and other exciting adventure activities (at your own cost). Explore iconic landmarks such as Ram Jhula, Geeta Bhavan, Swargashram, Parmarth Niketan and witness the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti ceremony in Parmarthdham ashram in Rishikesh. Conclude your day with an overnight stay in Rishikesh.



Day 3
RISHIKESH - JOSHIMATH (260 Kms / 7-8 Hrs)

Following breakfast, we leave for Joshimath, enroute we witness Devprayag Sangam, the sacred confluence of Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers [viewed from the bus]. This place marks the birthplace of the holy Ganges River. Later, continue your journey to your hotel in Joshimath for a peaceful overnight stay.

JOSHIMATH - DAY TRIP TO AULI

Day 5
JOSHIMATH - UKHIMATH (130 Kms / 5 Hrs)

After breakfast, head to Ukhimath, on the way we have Lunch at Tapovan. Evening visit Omkareshwar Temple which is the winter seat for Kedarnath. Overnight stay at the Ukhimath hotel.

Referred to as ‘Winter Seat of Kedarnath’ for a reason! Ukhimath Temple is one of the Panch Kedar where the deity is brought down during the winter season when the Kedarnath Temple gets fully wrapped in snow. As per Hindu Mythology, it is said that the wedding of Vansur’s daughter and Lord Krishna’s grandson was set up here. The place at that time was known as Ushamath and was later changed to Ukhimath.



Day 6
UKHIMATH CHOPTA & TUNGNATH TREK

After breakfast, depart for Chopta, nestled in the Garhwal Himalayas. This region known as the Tungnath Valley, offers breathtaking scenic views and significant religious importance. It derives its name from the Tungnath Temple (in Winter Main Temple door will closed), the world’s highest temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Its a 5km trek to reach the temple. Remember to prepare in advance and carry essentials like a reusable water bottle and sunscreen. Conclude your day with a comfortable overnight stay at the Ukhimath Hotel.



Day 7
UKHIMATH TRIYUGINARAYAN TEMPLE & GUPTKASHI (45 KMS 2-3 HRS)

Enjoy breakfast, later we visit the Triyuginarayan Temple. This site is believed to have been the capital of Himavat and served as the venue for the divine marriage of Lord Shiva and Parvati during the Satya Yug. Then visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Guptakashi. The name Guptkashi is derived from Lord Shiva's "disappearance" (gupt) here before he could be found by the Pandavas, hence the name "Guptkashi" meaning "hidden Kashi". Overnight stay at Ukhimath Hotel.



Day 8
UKHIMATH - HARIDWAR (200 kms / 6-7 hrs)

After breakfast, leave for a journey to Haridwar. En route, visit the Dhari Devi Temple, a sacred site accessible by a 1-kilometer walk. Upon your arrival in Haridwar, check in at your hotel. Evening visit the Famous Har ki Pauri on Ganga Ghat to participate in the Ganga Aarti. Dinner & Night halt at Haridwar.



Day 9
HARIDWAR - DEHRADUN AIRPORT (40 KMS / 1-2 HRS APPROX)

After breakfast enjoy a bit of leisure time, check out from the hotel at 11:00. After an early lunch we transfer to Dehradun Airport for departure. Flights to be booked after 16.00 [if you want to book an earlier flight, you will have to manage transfer to the airport by your own cost].
