Day 1
Cochin Airport Arrival
Warm Greetings to your Kerala Tour, after arrival at Cochin Airport reach our hotel directly (at your own cost) (Hotel Check/in - 1400 Hrs). On Arrival check into hotel and have your lunch & rest of the day is free for nearby sightseeing [not included in cost]- Marine Drive, Water Metro [Electric + AC Boat], Sunset Cruise. Dinner & Night halt at Cochin.
Day 2
Cochin – Munnar (Distance:- 130 kms / 5 hrs approx)
After breakfast check out from hotel with your luggage and proceed to visit local sightseeing of Cochin which includes - Dutch Palace, St. Francis Church and Chinese Fishing Nets. After lunch proceed to Munnar - A hill station and former resort for the British Raj elite, it's surrounded by rolling hills dotted with tea plantations established in the late 19th century. En route visit the famous waterfalls (In rainy Season) on arrival check into your hotel. Dinner & Night halt at Munnar.
Day 3
Munnar Sightseeing
After breakfast visit Metupatty Dam for Speed boating (included in the cost), Rose Garden & Botanical Garden. Evening free for leisure/rest or Shopping. Dinner & Night halt at Munnar
Day 4
Munnar Sightseeing
After breakfast visit Rajmala view point the highest point of Kerala & Tea Museum. After lunch the day is free for a Ayurvedic massage [not included in cost] or to explore the natural beauty of Munnar. Dinner & Night halt at Munnar.
*Note: Munnar - Eravikulam National Park (Rajmala) is closed for 2 Months (February & March) in a year due to the calving season.
Day 5
Munnar – Thekkady (Distance:- 85 kms / 5 hrs approx)
After breakfast check out from hotel with your luggage and proceed to Thekkady - it is a town near Periyar National Park, an important tourist attraction in the Kerala State of India. En route visit the beautiful Tea Gardens of Munnar. On arrival check into your hotel – have your lunch and in the evening take a guided Spice Plantation Tour and enjoy the famous Kerala Traditional Kathakali show (Included in the cost). Dinner & Night halt at Thekkady.
Day 6
Thekkady – Kumarakom (Distance:- 125 kms / 6 hrs approx)
Today guest can choose to go on an Early Morning Jungle Safari [not included in the cost] in Thekkady or after breakfast guest can go for Periyar Lake Boating [not included in the cost]. After lunch we proceed to Kumarakom. Kumarakom is a village on Vembanad Lake in the Backwaters of Kerala. It’s laced with Canals, where Houseboats ply the waters. En- route enjoy Tea or Coffee. On arrival check into your hotel. Dinner & Night halt at Kumarakom.
Day 7
Kumarakom
After breakfast we leave for the famous back waters ride [Included in the cost]. Later day is free for leisure/hotel activites/swimming. Dinner & Night halt at Kumarakom.
Day 8
Kumarakom - Trivandrum (Distance:- 175 kms / 6 hrs approx)
After breakfast, check out from the hotel with your luggage and proceed to Trivandrum; it is famous for its beaches, among the most pristine in India. It is extremely popular among Westerners due to shallow waters and low tidal waves. En route, visit Jatayu Earth Centre. It is home to the world's largest bird sculpture (included in the cost), and then proceed to Trivandrum. Dinner and night halt at Trivandrum .
Day 9
Trivandrum
After breakfast visit to Shree Padmanabha Swamy Temple - a Hindu temple located in Thiruvananthapuram, capital of the state Kerala. It is considered as the richest place of worship in the world. After lunch free for leisure. Dinner & Night halt at Trivandrum.
Day 10
Trivandrum Airport
After enjoying breakfast, check out of your hotel with your luggage and head to Trivandrum Airport for your flight (Flights to be booked after 11 a.m.) to your home destination, cherishing the wonderful memories of your tour with Heena Tours & Travels.
