Adventure Sundarbon Tour Package

Day wise Planning

Day 1: Canning → Gadkhali → Sundarbans (By Houseboat)
7:42 AM – Board a local train from Sealdah to Canning (approx. 1 hr 10 mins).
9:00 AM – Meet our tour manager at Canning. Transfer to Gadkhali boat ghat by local transport.
Option: Guests arriving by private car can directly reach Gadkhali boat ghat.
10:00 AM – Start the Sundarban tour by Houseboat.
11:00 AM – Arrive at Gosaba and visit:
Rabindranath Tagore’s Bungalow
Mr. Hamilton Saheb’s Bungalow
12:00 – 2:00 PM – Explore small villages in the Sundarbans. Learn about:
Local livelihood
Customs and beliefs of villagers
2:00 – 5:00 PM – Spot mudfish and red crabs along the muddy grounds.
Observe their unique behavior as they hide in tiny holes.
Before sunset, head towards the hotel.
7:00 PM – Enjoy an adventurous evening with local folk music at the hotel.
10:00 PM – Dinner at the hotel dining hall. (Meals during the day will be served on the houseboat.)


Day 2: Sajnekhali – Sudhanyakhali – Dobanki (By Houseboat)
6:30 AM – Morning tea & biscuits served in hotel rooms.
7:00 AM – Check out from hotel & board the houseboat.
Obtain forest entry permit with a govt. tour guide.
7:30 AM – 4:00 PM – Full-day boat safari through deep Sundarban forest.
Visit three watchtowers:
Sajnekhali
Sudhanyakhali
Dobanki (Canopy Walk)
Explore narrow river channels like:
Pirkhali
Gajikhali
Bonobibi Bharani
Wildlife spotting opportunities:
Exotic birds
Spotted deer
Crocodiles
Monitor lizards
If lucky: The Royal Bengal Tiger 🐅
4:30 PM – Watch the sunset over the river.
5:30 PM – Return to hotel.
7:00 PM – Option for campfire with roasted chicken/fish (if guests wish).
9:30 PM – Special dinner for all tourists at hotel.

Day 3: Village Visit & Departure
Morning – Check out from the hotel early.
Post Breakfast – Board the houseboat for the last excursion.
Late Morning / Afternoon – Visit Dayapur Village
Experience local lifestyle, traditions & village culture.
Lunch – Served on the houseboat.
After Lunch – Return boat journey to Gadkhali Ghat.
Drop at Gadkhali – Transfer by cab to Canning Railway Station.
Evening – Departure with sweet memories of Sundarban Tour.
