Day wise Planning

Day 01 (Saturday): Howrah -New Jalpaiguri-Gangtok

Departure from Howrah Railway station by train no. 22301 at 05.55 hrs. Arrive New Jalpaiguri at 13.25 hrs and proceed to Gangtok. On arrival check in hotel and overnight stay. (Gangtok)

Day 02 (Sunday): Gangtok (Trip to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir)

Start for a half day trip of Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) & Baba Harbhajan Singh Memorial (13200 ft) 52 kms from Gangtok city. Tsomgo lake freezes completely during the winter are much revered by the locals [Optional visit to Nathu La Pass India - China Border Point on Direct Payment by Guest Subject to permission from Govt Authority/ Army]. Day 03 (Monday): Gangtok local sightseeing

Start for a half day local city tour covering Enchey Monastery, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Tashi View Point, Bakthang Waterfalls & Ropeway (If operational, ticket on direct payment basis) Research institute of Tibetology, Directorate of Handicraft and Handloom and Flower Show. Evening free for personal activity. Overnight stay at Gangtok. (Gangtok)

Day 04 (Tuesday): Gangtok- Darjeeling

This morning drive to Darjeeling (7100 ft) is one of the most magnificent hill resorts in the world. On arrival check in to your hotel and evening enjoy at world famous Darjeeling Mall Raod. Overnight at Darjeeling. (Darjeeling)

Day 05 (Wednesday): Darjeeling (sightseeing)

Early morning (at 4 am) drive to Tiger hill to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzonga (28208 ft. world’s third highest peak), on your way back visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia loop. After breakfast, visit Himalayan mountaineering institute, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (closed on Thursday), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-help Center (closed on Sunday), Tea Garden (outer view), Ava Art Gallery and JapanessTemple. Evening Free (walking tour of mall-suggested). Overnight at Darjeeling. (Darjeeling)

Day 06 (Thursday): Darjeeling -New Jalpaiguri Rly. Station-Howrah

After breakfast proceed to New Jalpaiguri. On arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway station at 14.00 hrs, catch the train no.22302 at 15.00 hrs. Arrive Howrah at 22.35 hrs. Tour End
